Speed Academy is a YouTube channel and social media content creation team made up of Peter Tarach and Dave Pratte, who have a deep and lifelong passion for all things automotive. Whether it’s lightly tuned road cars or fully built track cars, we’re all about finding ways to make the machines we love even more fun than the day they left the assembly line. So expect to find a high-performance focus to our content, where we install and test the latest go-fast and look-fast parts while building a wide range of project cars from Sport Compact to European to muscle cars and trucks.
We pride ourselves on building our cars to a high standard by using the best parts available, but we also try to build our projects in realistic and relatable ways with respect to budget and scope. Plus, we’re very open about sharing the struggles that inevitably happen when working on cars, from rusty bolts to spun rod bearings, you’ll see all of the ups and downs as we restore, repair, and modify our favorite cars.
