Fort Mill, SC; January 15, 2026 – Continental Tire is proud to announce the launch of its SecureContact AW, a new premium, all-weather touring tire designed for passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs. Backed by a 60,000-mile limited warranty and available in 46 sizes ranging from 15" to 20", the SecureContact AW allows drivers the freedom to drive on one set of tires year-round, making it a smart choice.
The new SecureContact AW offers exceptional traction in all weather conditions, boasting best-in-class wet braking and wet handling.* It features EcoPlus Technology, which provides fuel savings and optimized range, shorter stopping distances on wet roads, and extended tread life. The tire also includes QuickView Indicators in the tread that visually inform drivers of the tire's level of performance - the DWS indicators show tread performance in Dry, Wet, and Snow conditions, while the alignment indicators help detect uneven wear early, promoting longer tire life. Carrying the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol for severe winter conditions, the SecureContact AW’s asymmetric tread pattern incorporates snow pockets and bow-shaped siping that evolve with wear, maintaining strong wet and snow traction throughout the tire’s life. Optimized for the needs of all types of vehicles, the SecureContact AW is also EV compatible, as all Continental product lines are designed with Electric Vehicles (EVs) in mind.
"With SecureContact AW, we’re entering a fast-growing segment with a product that truly meets the needs of today’s drivers," said Brian Beierwaltes, Head of Marketing US PLT, Continental Tire. "It’s the smart choice for those who want touring comfort and year-round confidence, all in one tire."
Every SecureContact AW purchase is backed by Continental Tire’s industry-leading Total Confidence Plan, which includes roadside assistance, mileage warranty, road hazard coverage, and more, giving drivers an extra measure of confidence wherever the road takes them.
The SecureContact AW is now available. See the full Total Confidence Plan for complete coverage details at https://continentaltire.com/warranty.
