Dreams Do Come True: Rutledge Wood Porsche Build

Dreams do come true.

For Continental Tire ambassador Rutledge Wood, that comes in the form of a custom Rauh Welt Begriff built Porsche 911. Japanese Artist Akira Nakai will transform a 1986 Carrera into the backdated widebody rendered here by the incredibly talented Jon Sibal.

Randy Allgood and the team at Kenwood Rod Shop in Peachtree City, Georgia are transforming this aircooled 911 into a fire breathing hot rod, complete with a GM Performance LS-3 from Summit Racing putting out 525hp, mount kit from Renegade Hybrids and Kennedy Engineering, backed by a G50 transaxle built by Rader Motorsports. The build will be packed with performance from Odyssey Battery, KW Suspension, Brembo Brakes, 9 Eleven LED headlights, custom Magnaflow exhaust, and custom built Forgeline Wheels.

Nakai-San will work his RWB magic in late May of this year, and you can see the Rutledge dream car in motion with us on the Hot Rod Power Tour this summer!
